WAGNER invests more than EUR 2 million in Markdorf

With an official ground-breaking ceremony, J. Wagner GmbH starts the construction of a new accessories and spare parts warehouse in Markdorf. WAGNER invests approximately 2.3 million euros in the new small-parts warehouse, which triples the storage capacity for accessories and spare parts. The new warehouse creates, with a length of 45 metres, a width of 8.5 metres and a height of 16 meters square, space for just under 20,000 storage bins. The investment is a commitment to the Markdorf location and an important investment in the future of the WAGNER-group and expression for the envisaged growth.
The Markdorf location at the headquarters of J. Wagner GmbH is of central importance for the WAGNER-group. Markdorf is the European Logistics Centre, from which customers in Central Europe from Scandinavia to Spain and France are supplied with goods. This includes even deliveries to the French overseas territories such as to Martinique in the Caribbean, Réunion in the Indian Ocean and New Caledonia East of Australia. Also the WAGNER sales companies worldwide receive the products which are manufactured at the production sites in Germany, the Switzerland and Italy, from the central logistics hub for Europe and Asia in Markdorf.
