With the Cobra 40-10 pneumatic double diaphragm pump WAGNER Professional Finishing is treading new paths in surface technology. Since it has minimal shear forces, the new pump is ideal for working with paints sensitive to UV, shearing, temperature and moisture. Unique in the industry: The exhaust air from the IceBreaker motor air conditions the oil and paint sections, thus ensuring constant viscosity of the hydraulic oil and thus a constant power curve. The uniform temperature also offers a considerable advantage when working with temperature sensitive paints.
Thanks to its design layout and in conjunction with the 5 litre top reservoir the pulsation-free Cobra pump is ideally suited for working with tiny quantities. This makes it the tool of choice for small batches and/or frequent colour changes. The low flushing fluid requirement for cleaning contributes to its economy. If larger projects are coming up, the Cobra 40-10 can pump the material directly out of the original packaging by means of a flexible intake system.
Thanks to the diaphragm technology the pneumatically operated high pressure pump needs no packings. This does away with the lubrication or adjustment of packings, making the Cobra pump particularly easy to maintain and reliable and, like the low-wear construction of the pressure and paint section and the valves from tungsten carbide, contributes to reducing the operating costs. Details such as the inlet valve depressor ensure easy release for a stuck valve and contribute to operating reliability. Thanks to its low weight of only 23 kilograms and its sturdy metal frame the Cobra 40-10 is compact and handy and thus also suitable for a quick change of location.
In use the double diaphragm pump proves its enormous versatility. For AirCoat coating the AirCoat AC 4600 P gun with the flexible WAGNER-twin hose and the Cobra 40-10 make a perfect team.
