WAGNER Industrial Solutions for Paint, Lacquers and Liquid Media
For decades WAGNER has been a specialised worldwide provider of systems and components in industrial surface technology.
The company stands out due to its complete range of products and technology, starting with the feeding of the material, through mixing and controlling, right up to its application on surfaces. Depending on the place of use and the requirements profile, a very wide variety of materials is used, such as primers, top coats, release agents and adhesives, water based or containing solvents, and at different viscosities. WAGNER supplies the right components and systems for working with all materials. The product spectrum stretches from piston and diaphragm pumps in the high pressure and low pressure range, through mechanical and electronic mixing and dosing units and control technologies, right up to SupraCoat, air atomisation, AirCoat, Airless, electrostatic and high speed rotational bells in the application field.
Paints and lacquers: Large freighters and exclusive yachts get their coats of paint with Airless and AirCoat equipment. High quality plastic components such as mobile phones and laptop housings right up to plastic car components such as instrument panels are painted with high speed rotational atomisers and SupraCoat. The same equipment is used to give intricate writing instruments their matt or glossy finish, whilst massive lorry chassis and axles are coated using electrostatic Aircoat. For coating leather the textile industry prefers to use the air atomising systems and AirCoat from Wagner which are also used in the furniture industry. A fundamental area of use for SupraCoat and high speed rotational atomisers from WAGNER is the painting of aluminium wheel rims.
Adhesives: Bearings for road bridges, engine mountings, cable guides for lifts, upholstery departments in furniture factories, steel edges on skis and multi-layer toilet paper all products needing adhesives that can be applied with the aid of WAGNER technology.
Release agents: In all industrial applications where moulds are used, such as plastic injection moulding, aluminium and grey iron casting, the moulds have to be sprayed with release agents so that the product can later be released from the mould a WAGNER area of application.
Oils: In the production of steel the giant rolls of steel sheet, known as coils, are given a layer of oil or wax by WAGNER equipment, as a protection against rust.
WAGNER Technology Centre With its technology centre in Markdorf WAGNER offers its customers a testing area with extensive facilities. An experienced team of application technicians runs series of trials made to measure for the customers requirements. Here application alternatives and the right economical solution for coating the surface can be properly determined under production conditions. Time consuming series of tests in the customers company are thus minimised.
